Since 2022, the specialty "Nursing" has been taught in a new way in the following medical colleges: BMC, NarynMC, TokmokMC, UzgenMC and medical college Osh SU . One of the innovations of the program is the presence of clinical mentors on the job.
On November 11, the MER project held a workshop on managing, leading and evaluating the clinical training of nursing students with the aim of training mentors of pilot colleges and mentors of clinical institutions.
During the seminar, representatives of the pilot colleges and clinical mentors discussed in detail the stages of the nursing process, nursing intervention, nursing documentation, and also studied the criteria and rules of the tutor.
With the expert support of nursing specialist, University of Slovenia professor Brigita Skela Savic, the participants learned how to use tools for documenting nursing care in clinical training and tools for monitoring student progress in clinical training.
