On September 11, 2026, the regular Meeting No. 9/26 of the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan (AMCK) was held online.
The meeting addressed current issues related to the development of medical education, including the results of the working group’s activities on reviewing state educational standards and curricula, translating them into the state language, and improving them in line with modern requirements.
Particular attention was paid to improving the organizational structure of the AMCK, introducing amendments and additions to the Association’s Charter, as well as the proposal to establish the position of Vice-President for Organizational Affairs and introduce regional coordinators.
Following the meeting, a decision was made to establish the Educational and Methodological Association (EMA) of the AMCK, consisting of 13 members. The EMA will focus on the methodological improvement of educational programs in medical colleges and on enhancing the quality of professional medical education.
In addition, the staffing structure of the AMCK was approved, and decisions were made regarding the establishment of the Audit Commission.
The meeting concluded with support for the key areas of the AMCK’s organizational development aimed at strengthening cooperation among medical colleges, improving the quality of education, and further enhancing the system for training qualified healthcare professionals.
