The forum "Personnel development in the field of rehabilitation in the Kyrgyz Republic" will be held in Bishkek on April 14-15, 2025. The forum was attended by Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Manashova, President of the Association O.T.Stanbayev, Dean of the Faculty of International Medicine of Osh State University, Professor R.Kalmatov, Deputy Dean J. Abdirasulova, Director of the BMK named after S.Usubaliev.
The purpose of the high-level discussion between decision makers and representatives of other stakeholders in the field of rehabilitation on issues related to supporting the development of competency-based rehabilitation education in the Kyrgyz Republic. The development of roadmaps and plans for the development of rehabilitation services in Kyrgyzstan will increase the number of qualified specialists by creating new qualifications in educational institutions.
The following tasks are considered in combination:
1) identify strategies to ensure political support and leadership in the educational training of rehabilitation workers;
2) develop a roadmap for the development of a competency-based rehabilitation education system, use partnerships both within the country and involve partners with international experience;
3) outline the latest steps in the form of a plan to strengthen the rehabilitation lifestyle in the country.
