On December 20, 2024, an international scientific and practical conference "10 years of nursing reform in Kazakhstan, achievements and opportunities" was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, to mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of Emily Higher Medical College.
At this conference, the Chairman of the Association, O.T.Stanbayev, made a presentation on "The current state and prospects of development of nursing education in the Kyrgyz Republic." A.O.Baydalieva made a presentation on "The history of the formation and development of nursing education at Bishkek Medical College named after A.Moldogaziev."
Emily Higher Medical College and the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation.
For organizing and holding a high-level scientific and practical conference and contributing to the development of cooperation between the two countries, Saula Katpenova, Director of the Emily Higher Medical College, received a Letter of Appreciation from the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan.
