November 9, 2022 in Bishkek, the International Forum "The Future of Nursing and Midwifery in Kyrgyzstan. Prospects for integration into the international professional space" devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Association of Nursing Specialists of the Kyrgyz Republic was held. The forum was attended by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulnara Batyrova, Minister of Health, Rasul Avazbek, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Bruno Lab, Director of the MER project, Swiss Embassy, international expert and University of Slovenia professor Brigita Skela Savic, representatives of the World Health Organization, guests from Kazakhstan and our country.
During the forum, panel discussions and discussions were held in the Education section. Also, the reforms currently being carried out in the field of secondary professional education and the models of introducing two-level bachelor's, master's, PhD-doctoral courses into it were discussed. Pilot medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan are actively involved in carrying out reforms and discussing problematic issues.
