Today, May 13, in Bishkek, a training was held for teachers and clinical mentors of the pilot medical college under the pilot program. The training was attended by the Chairman of the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan O.T. Stanbaev, directors and teachers of the Uzgen International Medical College, Bishkek Medical College, Naryn Medical College and Tokmok Medical College. The lecturers were international experts Dr. Brigita Skela Savic, Dr. Sanela Pivach, Sedina Kalender-Smailovich and local expert Bashirova Masuma Ilyasovna. During the training, the participants were told about the changes in nursing education in Kyrgyzstan, the role of teaching staff, healthcare organizations and practicing nurses. Participants were introduced to questions about documenting clinical training and assessment, as well as didactic approaches for mentors working with students in a clinical setting. The training was held in a hybrid format.
